Stability and instability for active Brownian particle models

I will present a recent study of active Brownian particle systems: the motivation comes from phase separation phenomena arising in such toy models for active matter. In a joint work with M. Coti Zelati and D. Gérard-Varet, we rigorously justify (in)stability thresholds (with and without rotational diffusion) for these models, with the lens of mixing and enhanced-dissipation.
